"I pay a pretty high premium for coverage on my properties & a premium that's ridiculous for my automobile!!! I've had hell getting any kind of help when I have had a claim with my properties, I feel the adjusters basically put the screws to me trying to get my roof fixed from storm damage!! There's a gaping hole in the middle of my roof my siding & fascia board has been torn away from the house from high winds & twice was told there was no damage finally the third time I was told my damages were going to be covered but when I received my claim check it wasn't close to covering the damages & my deductible which is $1000 was changed by someone to $1500 even though my policy says $1000!!! What I received wouldn't cover 1/3 of my damages!!! I also had a previous claim that someone closed before I could get the work done!!! That actually happened twice!!! I have had State Farm for years & never had a problem with any claim but that was with a different agent!!! That particular agent suddenly passed away during a claim & from that point my claim went downhill & the ladies in the office told me they couldn't stand up for me out of fear of losing their job & that your agent goes to bat or stands up for you when you've discrepancies in the claim!!! This story is too long to finish but I hope it's understandable what I've had to deal with!!! It seems in today's world insurance companies have no problem collecting premiums & they do not like paying claims, they'll just cancel your policy!!! That's just wrong & they should be held accountable!!!
